Online Forum

If you would like to chat with members of the planetary science community in Ile-de-France, please consider joining our online forum. We are using Matrix to host our forum, which is an open-source decentralized and secure messaging protocol. There are many software and web clients for accessing Matrix, of which the most popular is Element. Our forum has channels for general discussions, new feeds of the planetary science laboratories in Ile-de-France, and an RSS feed of our Mastodon account.

To join

1. Sign up for an account on the Element web page (or any other federated Matrix server).
2. Join the IDF-Planets space in a web browser using this link.
3. Join the channels in this space that interest you by clicking on the channel name and “join”.

Alternatively, just send a message to @idf-planets-admin:matrix.org and they will add you to the forum.
